As a K-5 special education teacher, 4th grade teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal of literacy, Rachel has taught reading and writing in public schools for nearly 20 years. From the time of the Apple II GS, Rachel has always been drawn to working with technology, and is passionate about the responsible intersection of education and tech. Rachel has a Bachelors Degree in Speech & Language Pathology from Northwestern University, a dual Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education from DePaul University and a certificate in Leadership in Educational Technology from George Washington University. She lives with her husband, 3 boys, and her first dog in Washington, DC.

Rebecca has worked in public education for fifteen years, as an elementary school classroom teacher, reading interventionist and literacy coach. She has deep knowledge and expertise in the literacy development, and a passion for growing lifelong readers and writers. Rebecca holds a Bachelors degree in creative writing from University of Pittsburgh, a Masters degree in Elementary Education from American University and a Masters Degree in Literacy from Teachers College Columbia University. She lives with her husband and two children in Washington, DC.
